Kok Kol Lake is located in the Osh Region not far from Murdash Village, it takes 2 hours by car. The lake is at an altitude of 3800m above sea level and one of the most interesting things is that it is full of various petroglyphs around the lake.
However, petroglyphs are currently on the verge of disappearing because there is a coal mine not far from the lake. Experts are concerned that continued coal mining will destroy the natural environment and petroglyphs in the 21st century.
